Abstract
The author has gleaned from the literature a number of conclusions one can make regarding the aging of older adults and then drawn implications of these conclusions for those who plan, design, and conduct educational experiences for elders. These conclusions have been grouped under several headings: Major Changes in Physical Capacities, Changes in Sensory Capacities, Changes Related to Speed and Timing, Attitudinal Changes, Learning Capacity and Performance, Changes in Memory, and Changes in Adjustment Ability and Morale.
